Esther + James | Long Island, NY | Wedding

Our dear friends Esther and James got married this past fall and we were so honored to be a part of their wedding day! It was such a fun celebration and an all-around amazing day. 

A little about their story: Just days before their big day, Hurricane Sandy hit the NY area and threatened to keep Esther and James' wedding on hold. Power outages, delayed flights, and so many other challenges came their way, but Esther and James kept their hopes up; and against all odds, obstacles cleared just in time for the wedding to go on  - what a miracle! And best of all, their families and friends were able to safely make their way to be there with them and celebrate their new beginning! Jackie + Kelvyn | Brooklyn, NY

Simply put, Jackie and Kelvyn are an awesome couple. They truly are the kind of people that you say are beautiful on the inside and out. As we got to know them, we couldn't help but be drawn to how much they adore each other and also care for others whole-heartedly. It was a treat for us to be behind the camera and also spend time with them along the way - it felt like friends meeting up because they were so easy going and open with us. We're so grateful to be a part of their journey and excited to capture their story on their wedding day next year!

Jimena + Dave | The Manor | Wedding

There's nothing quite like it. The rush of emotions that comes with seeing each other for the first time on the wedding day, especially during a "first look" -  a quiet, intimate moment shared between the bride and groom before the ceremony. A time to spend a moment alone together before they step forward into the next chapter of their lives...bringing everything down to what the day is truly all about.

Jimena and Dave's first look reminded us of why we love first looks so much. It was one that kept our hearts beating with so much excitement and joy. The way they made each other light up when they saw each other said it all - they couldn't wait to get their journey started as husband + wife! We're so thankful to have been there to not only capture the moment but to share the moment with them. Congratulations to Jimena and Dave! We're so happy for you guys!

Shannon + Eugene | New York, NY

Meet Shannon and Eugene. Their story began eleven years ago while they were both working as lifeguards at a beach along the Jersey Shore and we're so grateful to be a part of this special time in their lives. As lovers of nature and all things nautical, they chose to have their session at Riverside Park and the 79th Street Boat Basin in New York City. It was the perfect spot for them to celebrate their relationship and the things that are wonderfully unique to their story. Can't wait for their wedding next year!
